We are looking for a talented Full-Stack Developer to join our growing engineering team at NexTera Technologies. In this role, you will design, build, and maintain scalable web applications that power our SaaS platform, serving over 50,000 users worldwide. You will work closely with product managers, designers, and fellow engineers in an agile environment to deliver features that delight our customers and drive business growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and deploy full-stack features across our React/TypeScript frontend and Node.js/Python backend services
- Architect and optimize RESTful APIs and GraphQL endpoints to support high-traffic, real-time applications
- Collaborate with product and design teams to translate requirements into technical specifications and deliver iteratively
- Write clean, well-tested, and thoroughly documented code; maintain at least 80% unit test coverage on new modules
- Manage and optimize PostgreSQL and Redis data layers, including schema design, query tuning, and caching strategies
- Participate in code reviews, technical design discussions, and mentorship of junior developers
- Monitor application performance using Datadog and PagerDuty; triage and resolve production incidents as part of the on-call rotation
- Contribute to CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure-as-code (Terraform), and containerized deployments on AWS (ECS, Lambda)
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent practical experience
- 5+ years of professional experience building and shipping web applications in a production environment
- Strong proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript and at least one backend language (Python, Go, or Java)
- Hands-on experience with modern frontend frameworks (React, Next.js, or Vue) and state management patterns
- Solid understanding of relational databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL) and NoSQL stores (Redis, DynamoDB)
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS preferred), containerization (Docker), and orchestration (Kubernetes or ECS)
